Towards quality vocational education in Hungary
Building a model institution providing the best possible education in the field
Hungarian Interchurch Aid (HIA) is aiming at contributing to a significant improvement in the vocational educational system, providing a new model for quality education for young people (14-18 years) in Hungary. Within the project HIA – in cooperation with the government - is establishing a new vocational secondary school in Biatorbágy (Pest county, Hungary), a model institution providing the best possible education in the field for young students.
The model and methods used in the secondary school can later be best practices to be disseminated, thus contributing to and inspiring major changes and improvements in vocational educational systems elsewhere in Hungary.
The institution will provide innovative teaching and work-based learning methods that are in line with the high expectations coming from companies towards potential employees.
The building of the school will support innovative educational methods, it will comply with the highest quality standards of the 21st century.
